Location: Fresno, CA area

Salary: $120,000

EDUCATION: Required Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of warehousing and logistics leadership in a medium size company

Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; must have experience working in ERP and warehouse management systems

Experience in Lean Six Sigma; training to at least the Green Belt level is desired with experience in applying these principles for problem-solving, process design/improvement, and establishing a lean culture

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.   Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing the company with safe and cost-effective warehousing and logistics, including the development and refinement of all processes associated transport and storage of incoming materials and finished goods.  Works closely with Production and Procurement to provide the most cost-effective transportation and storage of incoming raw and pack materials while adhering to all food safety practices.  Works closely with Production and Sales to provide the most cost-effective storage and transportation of finished products to meet customer time and quality requirements.  Will anticipate and cost-effectively manage 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) outside cold storage when frozen materials storage requirements exceed the company’s capacity.

Develops policy and directs and coordinates all warehousing and logistics activities.   Responsible for continually improving performance as demonstrated through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
