Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales, ideally experience within the Functional Food, Nutraceutical and/or Juice/Puree industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Advanced Excel experience is beneficial.
Able to work independently, with positive attitude and be able to thrive in an environment with limited training.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Summary: Fast-growing multi-product manufacturing and marketing company with emphasis in fruit juice, puree, powder and extract seeking an experienced sales professional with some experience within the Food Ingredient and Dietary supplement sector. The Ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter and team player with strong character and motivated to contribute to our winning team to help us broaden our customer base.
Responsibilities: Plan and achieve annual sales growth profitably from existing customer base.
Prospect and secure new customers profitably.
Accountable for transactional aspects of customer relationship from solicitation of orders through to collection/payment.
Provide input to market information, strategies, visions, and goals.
Achieve budgeted sales goals, market penetration, and ultimately contribute to company profitability.
Must be able to think strategically and assist with strategic planning for new program development.
Must be able to forecast and analyze numbers proficiently using Excel.
Work collaboratively with other staff to develop promotional programs to drive sales.
Must be able to sit in front of a computer for long periods of time.
Some travel required.
Overtime hours, trade show participation, some weekend travel may be required.
